I have been interested in sound both live and recorded since my father used to send tape letters with a family friend in 1964 using a Stella ST454 1/4 track tape recorder. The same recorder was used in the original Compare the Meerkat ad.
Today I do FOH sound for Jazz concerts at Lincoln Drill Hall once a month for New Jazz 5 and Jazzpac using the equipment they have available there, this I occasionally augment as required with my own kit.
